This policy states Heritage Camps for Adoptive Families position on discrimination.

This policy applies to all Heritage Camp for Adoptive Families employees, volunteers, members, clients, and contractors.

Heritage Camps for Adoptive Families follows an equal opportunity employment policy and employs personnel without regard to race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, physical or mental ability, veteran status, military obligations, and marital status.

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order or ask to be placed on our mailing list.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/​credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

You may cancel your camp registration at any time. Prior to 30 days before the camp start date, you will receive a full refund of your program fees, with the exception of a $100 processing fee, which will be assessed to all cancellations made prior to 30 days before the camp start date. Within 1-30 days of the camp start date, there will be no refund of program fees if you cancel your camp registration. This cancellation policy does not apply to any lodging fees, which are separate from Heritage Camps.

Safety First Policy

Heritage Camps for Adoptive Families (hereinafter “HCAF”) is dedicated to providing a safe environment for our campers, parents, counselors, presenters, and community volunteers. This Safety-First Policy is designed to address the safety of everyone involved with HCAF, with special emphasis on the protection of children, youth, and other vulnerable populations.
