Heritage Camps for Adoptive Families Alumni

Many of our campers who graduate high school return to camp as counselors, but other former campers return to camp as alumni in a volunteer capacity. Camp alumni have a chance to reconnect with friends they are used to seeing each year, and they also have an opportunity to help make camp a success.

Volunteer roles include:

  • Helping to set up and work in the Village
  • Helping to set up and work in the Market
  • Lunch prep, cooking and serving
  • Helping facilitators teach the kids
  • Working in the Middle School group to help with outdoor activities
  • Working at the registration table
  • Other miscellaneous forms of support

Register here as an alumni and choose where you’d like to volunteer. Camp alumni get lodging with the counselors, provided at no cost, but are responsible for the $80 registration fee (the fee for adult adoptees). After registration, you’ll receive the Alumni Volunteer Code of Conduct form to sign and return.

Parents of Former Campers

Alumni Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend camp even if their child is not attending. This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with other families. For those interested in volunteering, we appreciate your experience and willingness to help make camp a success. After registering as an alumni parent, you’ll receive updates about any alumnus activities happening at camp (typically held on Saturday).

The full weekend of camp is $108, or you may attend just one day for $65. Register here as an alumni parent.
