Heritage Camps for Adoptive Families Young Adult Adoptees (ages 18-23)
Many of our campers who graduate high school return to camp as counselors, but other former campers return to camp as alumni in a volunteer capacity, or to attend camp. Camp alumni have a chance to reconnect with friends they are used to seeing each year, and they also have an opportunity to help make camp a success. Please go to our adult adoptee page to find out more.
Parents of Former Campers
Alumni Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend camp if their adult (18 years and older) child is attending as a counselor, post-high school participant, or even not attending camp at all. This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old and new friends who have something in common. Adoptive parenting never ends, and often more support is needed when our kids go through stages as they leave the nest, then come back to the nest, then leave the nest again! Camp can still provide that support.
For those interested in volunteering, we appreciate your experience and willingness to help make camp a success. After registering as an alumni parent, you’ll receive updates about any alumnus activities happening at camp (typically held on Saturday).
The full weekend of camp is $128 per adult, or you may attend just one day for $95. Register here as an alumni parent. Simply choose “alumni” when registering.
