Please be sure you are on our mailing list to receive your registration brochure in the mail next year, which will give you the specific dates that online registration will be open for your camp. Our mailing database is for our sole use and will not be sold to any other companies. We generally do one or two mailings a year and then mail out registration info in February/March. We also send periodic e-mail newsletters and pertinent information.
Camps cost between $95 and $125 per person depending on grade level for the
weekend. TRAVELING TO COLORADO FOR HERITAGE CAMP: ALTITUDE Whether driving or flying to Colorado from out-of-state, we highly recommend that you arrive a day or two before camp, so your family can acclimate to our higher altitude! If your camp is being held in the mountains, you might enjoy staying in Denver for a couple of nights, which is a bit of an adjustment at 5,280 feet, then going up to Snow Mountain Ranch for camp, which is at about 9,000 feet! You are also welcome to arrange lodging at Snow Mountain Ranch either before camp or after camp, but you will have to do that through individual reservations, and not through our group rate. AIRPORT The airport you will be flying into for camp is Denver International Airport. It is approximately 30 minutes from central Denver and about 2 1/2 hours from Snow Mountain Ranch. We highly recommend that you fly in one to two days early, so that your family can acclimate to the higher altitude in Colorado before camp begins. Camp will end around noon on the last day. Please schedule your flight that day to allow for the recommended arrival at the airport two hours before flight time. RENTAL CAR We highly recommend you rent a car as it will be much easier for you and your family to get back and forth from the airport to camp, and then to get around easier with your family in the location where your camp is held. ARE YOU ATTENDING MORE THAN ONE CHC CAMP? If you are registering for more than one Colorado Heritage Camp this summer, you may deduct
50% of your program and accommodation costs for the 2nd camp you attend. The online registration
procedure does not have a mechanism to do this automatically, so please contact CHC at hcamps@juno.com after
you have registered for both camps, and we will manually deduct the cost of the second camp's
program fees. You must then submit your lodging bill from Snow Mountain Ranch after the second
camp to receive reimbursement for those costs as well. Thank you! Since materials and supplies for camp have already been purchased, there will be no program fee refunds if cancellation is made within 60 days of your camp's start date. If cancellation is made prior to that time, all but $50 of your family’s Camp Program Fee will be refunded. CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE: Camp scholarships are available to families in need of financial assistance, and we strongly encourage you to apply if your family would be unable to attend camp due to the associated costs. Scholarship applications will be sent upon request when you register for camp. Please click here to apply for a scholarship once you have registered for camp.
