Heritage Camps at Snow Mountain Ranch include: Cambodian, Chinese, Indian Nepalese, Korean, Latin American, and REECA.
Though we are not directly affiliated with the YMCA of the Rockies, we are fortunate to be able to use their Snow Mountain Ranch facilities in Fraser, Colorado for 6 out of 10 of our camps. A family vacation destination in itself, Snow Mountain Ranch is nestled on 5,100 acres in a beautiful wilderness setting just two hours west of Denver. Most everything you would like in a Colorado mountain vacation package is right there, including hiking, fishing, canoeing, swimming, roller skating, volleyball, tennis, horseback riding, hayrides, and MORE! Snow Mountain Ranch is located a few miles west of the ski resort, Winter Park, which has a full roster of summertime fun and activities. Snow Mountain is also just a few miles east of Granby and Grand Lake, Colorado, both of which boast many summer activities, including boating on large lakes (for Colorado). Forget that expensive skiing in Colorado -summer is the BEST and most beautiful time to be here!
LODGING RATES FOR SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH CAMPS:
Though each lodging package is individualized per family based on your choice, number in the family, etc., this year’s average lodging rate for a family of four is approximately $207 per night and includes breakfast and dinner. Ethnic lunches are served as part of Heritage Camp. Each lodge room sleeps anywhere from four to six people, and have private bathrooms.
Camping is also available onsite at Snow Mountain Ranch, ranging from sites with full RV hook-ups to basic tent sites. The average cost to camp is $39 per night. The camp grounds have full heated showers and bathroom facilities.
You can also rent a cabin at Snow Mountain Ranch, but this is not part of our contract. You must contact them directly at 800-777-YMCA to make your cabin reservation after April 1st, and it is first come, first served only. Cabins fill up quickly!
Snow Mountain Ranch - Frasier, CO
Our Filipino Heritage Camp will be held at this hotel and conference center.
Our camp in Winter Park, Colorado will be held at the Winter Park Mountain Lodge. Winter Park is a Colorado ski resort in the winter, and a summer playground! In Winter Park, you can get into the beautiful Colorado high country on a mountain bike, horseback, or by hiking. Take an exciting rafting trip through thrilling Colorado rivers. Get the feel of the real West by climbing aboard a horse-drawn wagon or stagecoach. Or take a spectacular balloon ride above it all. There's never a lack of something to do during our glorious summer time in Winter Park, Colorado!
LODGING RATES FOR WINTER PARK MOUNTAIN LODGE:
The room rate per night is approximately $184 for a family of four, and includes breakfast and dinner. Ethnic lunches are served as part of Heritage Camp. Each room includes two queen beds and a full bath.
Winter Park Mountain Lodge - Winter Park, CO
Our Vietnamese Heritage Camp will be held at this conference center.
Our camp in Estes Park, Colorado will be held at the Rocky Mountain Park Conference Center and the surrounding area. Estes Park is a true Colorado small town, with lots of fun things to do and see. It is a great place for a family to spend a few days or more on the front or back end of their heritage camp experience. In Estes Park, you can find world class hiking and climbing, fishing, golfing, sightseeing, wildlife watching, galleries, unique shopping, dining choices, lodging and events. With Rocky Mountain National Park out the back door, there's something in Estes Park just for you.
LODGING RATES FOR ROCKY MOUNTAIN PARK CONFERENCE CENTER:
The Conference Center is attached to a Holiday Inn, which is where we have our group rates. The room rate per night is $169, and includes a private breakfast with our group each day. Dinner will be provided by Heritage Camp on Saturday for a fee, and on your own Friday. Kids eat free at the Holiday Inn! Each room includes two double beds and full bath.
You are welcome to find lodging elsewhere in Estes Park, but are on your own to do so. If you lodge elsewhere, you will not be able to join us for the group breakfast, but certainly for all other camp activities.
Heritage Camps at Colorado Heights include: African Caribbean and Chinese II
Colorado Heights University (formerly Loretto Heights) is located in a rich, culturally diverse area of Denver. It also has one of, if not the best view of the mountains from any point in Denver! It is a spacious, secluded campus, with mature trees, lots of outdoor space, and more than adequate meeting space. It is an ideal spot for an urban camp getaway.
In Denver, are many culturally-rich opportunities to explore in the urban environment as well as lots of fun things to do in the city for the entire family! Plus the mountains are a mere one to two-hour drive west, so can be an easy day trip for families visiting the Mile High City.
LODGING RATES FOR DENVER CAMPS:
We have two hotels (due to availability) we have booked our groups in for our Denver camps, both within 10 minutes of our camp location.
African Caribbean: Courtyard by Marriott Denver Southwest. Average room rates are $79 per night, meals not included.
Courtyard Marriot - Lakewood, CO
Chinese II: Holiday Inn Denver Lakewood. Average room rates are $89 per night, meals not included, but kids eat free at the Holiday Inn.
